Mirka Stašková

The goal of the these workshops is to support the natural and free movement expression of children through games and physical activities that stimulate their imagination, creativity, self-realization and provide unforgettable experiences. For us, art is a way to communicate, learn and perceive the world differently.

We offer the workshops for two age categories:

  • 10:00-10:45 – from 3.5 to 6 years
  • 11:00-12:15 – from 7 to 11 years

MIRKA STAŠKOVÁ

Mirka is a graduate of the Department of Dance Creation at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava, specializing in Dance Art – Modern Dance. She is currently a teacher at the Private Conservatory in Nitra and a lecturer at the Department of Dance Creation at VŠMU, where she teaches Modern Dance and Dance for Children and Youth.

She has collaborated with various artistic and cultural institutions, including Dance Theatre Bralen, the Slovak National Theatre, the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Malá Scéna STU, Prešporské Theatre, and the Hans Christian Andersen Puppet Theatre in Lublin, Poland.

In the independent dance scene, she is active in Laban’s Atelier Bratislava, which promotes the legacy of world-renowned artist Rudolf Laban, and in the mimoOs collective, which produces original performances and engages in educational activities in contemporary dance through the Telohra project.

As a performer in recent years, she has collaborated with the Folklab platform on the performance “Rozumu zbavení”, and with the Bratislava in Movement Association on the performances “Veľký nádych” and “Pulz Prešporka”.
