This contemporary dance workshop explores biomechanics, impulses, gravity, rebound, and flow. Vasko playfully and challengingly weaves together technical principles from contemporary dance, breakdancing, and acrobatics. By combining these strategies, extreme physical movements can be executed fluidly. The focus is on speed and fluidity of movement.
Recommended for dancers aged 12+ with previous dance experience.

Vasko Nasonov
Vasko Nasonov is a dancer, teacher and performer.
He started with hip hop and house dance, taking part in numerous Russian and international battles, including Juste Debout Italy, SDK, U-13 and RMT.
Since 2016, Vasko worked with FarFor Yo Dance Company for three years, where hip hop techniques merged with contemporary dance. This experience led him to explore contemporary dance, while also incorporating capoeira, acrobatics and yoga into his movement practice.
Since 2017, he has been part of Kseniya Shlezinger’s educational laboratory, where he deepened his knowledge of contemporary dance techniques. He also attended intensive programs by Eastman, Ultima Vez, DAR and ImPulsTanz.
In 2019, Vasko won the ImPulsTanz Dance Contest.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with renowned choreographers including Yoann Bourgeois, Mike Tyus, Ofir Yudilevich, Tomislav English, Niels Robitzky, Tori Wranes, Kseniya Shlezinger, Tatiana Chizhikova, Elena Fokina, Anna Abalihina and Pavel Gluhov.
Vasko is a dancer with the Kseniya Shlezinger Dance Project and has been a guest dancer with Yoann Bourgeois Dance Company, The Moscow State Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre, Fomenko Workshop Theatre, and other projects around the world.
As a teacher, Vasko has led workshops at ArtEZ University (Netherlands), Henny Jurriëns Studio (Netherlands), Maslool Program (Israel), Performact (Portugal), Unusual Symptoms Dance Company (Germany), ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival (Austria), IDW Budapest, Equilibrio Ensemble, B12 (Germany), Dance Without Limits (Czech Republic), Le Facteur (France), TanzQuartier Wien (Austria), Kezer Belle (Hungary), DO Festival (Poland), and many other international festivals.
He has also been a guest teacher at SEAD Academy (Austria), Kataklo Academy (Italy), Batsheva Dance School, Inbal Dance Theater, Boris Eifman Academy, Avshalom Pollak Dance Company, Kolben Dance Company, Vertigo Dance Program, and many other renowned educational institutions and dance companies.
