The workshop is intended for children from 5 years of age with special educational needs: learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, children with autism, children with impaired communication skills, children with mental, physical and sensory disabilities, for children with Down syndrome, for children with disabilities of the autistic spectrum, for children with more severe forms of mental retardation and other developmental disorders.

At the workshop, we will work with children in a group using art therapies (dance-movement therapy, art therapy) to develop self-knowledge, communication, self-confidence, social skills and relationships, to express emotions, support their self-realization and creativity. Through movement experience, we teach the child to get to know his body, feelings, thoughts, emotions, ideas. She learns to know herself and also to use non-verbal communication on many levels. Through movement and dance, children can fully release their fear, anger or joy, tenderness, peace and other feelings that they cannot express in ordinary life.

During the entire workshop, the canine therapy dog Toby will be present with us, who will actively participate in several activities. The canine therapy dog increases the mental well-being of children with its presence and has a motivating effect.
