basics of pair acrobatics
AA Gravity
In our workshop, we’ll start with playful calibration techniques to get in sync with your partner. Along the way, we’ll teach you the basic terminology for the exercises and positions we’ll be demonstrating. We’ll also cover safety principles (base, flyer, spotter). You’ll not only see, but also try out tricks incorporating elements of acro yoga, strength gymnastics, dance, and calisthenics, which flow freely together in our art. We’ll begin with the simplest ones, then gradually raise the bar according to the participants’ skills. You can look forward to it — we’ll likely manage to put together your first acrobatic choreography today. 🙂
Please bring a yoga mat, a towel, and liquid chalk for a better grip.
The workshop is open to everyone, no dance knowledge is necessary!
You don’t need to register for this workshop, just show up.

AA Gravity
Mgr. Alica Mészárosová, founder of the poledance center PoleZ, works as a school psychologist during the week.
Mgr. Andrej Mészáros, psychologist, family counselor, recreational short story writer, and frequent visitor of the outdoor workout park.
AA Gravity – Alica used to be a professional ballroom dancer, and although Andrej dances only in acute cases, he enjoys moving heavy objects. They found a use for their athletic abilities in partner acrobatics and strength gymnastics. They are partners in private life, in their professions, and in sports. Their first date was in 2013 — at a gym. They fell in love with amateur acro yoga right after seeing a random video on YouTube. After some friendly persuasion, they performed at the Faculty of Management Ball in Prešov — this became the very first performance of AA Gravity.
After moving to the Czech Republic, they received the warmest welcome — 1st place in the Sokolov’s Got Talentcompetition, which gave them the opportunity to shoot their first promo video.
They were later approached by TJ Praha Bohemians, where they were officially introduced to acrobatics gymnasticsfor the first time. They began attending educational workshops organized by the newly emerging Czech Acro community, as well as many others. Since 2015, at Fitness Ural, they have in turn been leading group partner acrobatics classes, and to this day, they enjoy offering private lessons to anyone eager to learn something new.
For the development of their skills and inspiration, they are grateful, among others, to Lukáš and Jana from Losers Cirque Company. Currently, they most often collaborate with Eliška Failová and her Circus Céres (New Circus in the Karlovy Vary region!).
Since 2022, they are no longer a duo but rather a trio — their son Artur was born, and they are already actively introducing him to the circus craft.
