BLUE LIGHT
MOMENTUM Dance Company
Everything glows.
Faces. Screens. Minds constantly shifting from one stimulus to the next. In the glow of blue light, bodies move closer together and drift apart. They disappear in reflections and rediscover themselves through movement. They search for a place between the light outside and the silence within.
Blue Light is a portrait of the landscape in which an entire generation has grown up—a landscape of connection and distance, noise and intimacy. A place where we are learning what it means to be truly present. The light never goes out.
The question is: what are we still able to see in its glow?
Blue Light is an original dance performance about a generation raised among screens, notifications, and the endless flow of information. Through movement, it explores digital fatigue, artificial light, and the inability to switch off—states that have quietly become part of our everyday lives.
The performance is not a critique of technology or social media. They are an inseparable part of the world we live in, shaping our relationships, communication, and the way we discover ourselves and the world around us. Instead, Blue Light asks how our perception, attention, and sense of self are transformed in a reality where the physical and digital worlds constantly overlap. Through images of light, movement, and collective energy, it captures the tension between constant connectivity and the longing for genuine presence.

MOMENTUM Dance Company
MOMENTUM Dance Company is a semi-professional dance company established under MOMENTUM Dance Team as a natural progression for dancers who wish to further develop original artistic creation, performance, and contemporary dance at a higher level.
MOMENTUM Dance Team was founded in 2023 by three dance artists and educators – Kristína Kordošová, Michaela Jurenková, and Matúš Szeghö. They share a common vision of creating a space for people who seek a contemporary movement aesthetic, are not afraid to experiment, and want to discover new forms of artistic expression through dance.
The project is led by graduates of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU), who have further developed their artistic practice through internationally renowned institutions and workshops, including SEAD Salzburg, MUK Vienna, and Millennium Dance Complex Los Angeles, while collaborating with leading Slovak and international theatres, choreographers, and dance companies.
Alongside their educational work, the team members are active as performers, choreographers, and creators on the professional dance scene, contributing to theatre, dance, and multidisciplinary productions.
