Who is the workshop for?

The workshop is open to anyone who connects with the theme of the performance and would like to actively participate in the creative process and become part of the final work.

Broken Hearted (not just girls, tomboys and Viki) is an original dance performance that explores breakup as a universal experience. Its creators, Barbora Janák and Katarína Čillíková, ask how we can avoid losing ourselves when faced with the fragility of love and the possibility of its ending.

The performance draws on pop culture and connects contemporary dance with street and club dance. Music from the 2000s onward serves as a powerful trigger for emotions, memories and inner processes. Broken Hearted takes us back to neighbourhood playgrounds, first loves and the hits that shaped the millennial generation.
